EUROPEAN BEER CHALLENGE - LONDON 2020

The European Beer Challenge is the premier beer competition held in London run by the world's foremost beverage awards organization, including the CWSA and Women's Wine & Spirits Awards and judged by 100 of the most influential beer buyers in Europe who they are all key decision makers at large beer importers, retailers, distributors and wholesalers.

The most interesting beers on the world scene fought to impress the demanding judges at the prestigious EBC, and again this year it is with great pleasure that the Sicilian beer brand Paul-Bricius is among the winners of the competition with its Red Strong beer productions Ale (amber) and Special Ale (blonde).

​Our blonde beer was judged among the best Belgian Blonde Ale with a silver medal.

​Our amber beer was judged the best beer in the Bitter category with the double gold medal.

London County Hall hosted the final tasting on November 24 under the iconic gaze of the London Eye, among the judges were representatives from The Ritz Hotel, Bibendum and Venus Wine & Spirit Merchants PLC.

Thousands of champions from 39 countries fought head to head. High-profile attendees include Brouwerij Van Steenberge, Hertog Jan, Tommy's Brewing Company, Privatbrauerei Waldhaus and Brasserie du Mont-Blanc.
